Preview: Clemson Lady Tigers at Syracuse Orange SYRACUSE, N.Y. (Interstat) ā A surging Clemson team riding a four-game winning streak will face a test against one of the Atlantic Coast Conferenceās top teams when the Lady Tigers visit the Syracuse Orange on Sunday. The matchup at the Carrier Dome pits two of the leagueās hottest players against each other. Clemson (18-8, 8-5 ACC) is led by guard Mia Moore, who is coming off a heroic performance. In a double-overtime, 67-65 win over Georgia Tech on Thursday, Moore played all 48 minutes and scored a career-high 31 points. Over her last three games, she is averaging 22.3 points. She will face a formidable Syracuse (20-5, 9-4) frontcourt anchored by forward Izoje Uche. Uche provides consistent scoring and rim protection, averaging 15.2 points and 2.1 blocks over her last six contests. In the Orangeās most recent outing, an 84-51 rout of Pittsburgh, Uche scored 18 points in just 26 minutes. The Orange, who boast a 12-1 record at home this season, have won seven of their last eight games. Their offense has been potent, scoring 80 or more points in four of those victories. Syracuse won the first meeting this season, 77-70, at Clemson on Jan. 15. Clemsonās recent success has been built on defense, holding opponents to an average of 58.5 points during their current streak. However, they will need to contain a balanced Syracuse attack that saw Sophie Burrows (18 points) and Dominique Darius (11 points, nine assists) excel alongside Uche against Pittsburgh. A win for Syracuse would solidify its hold on a top-four conference standing, while Clemson seeks a resume-building road victory to enhance its NCAA tournament prospects. Projected Starters:
