The matchup features two of the conference’s top teams battling for positioning. Southern Indiana (17-7 overall) enters with the stronger record, while Tennessee Tech (14-9) looks to avenge a narrow overtime loss from last month. The Screaming Eagles are riding high after a dominant 81-55 victory over Tennessee State on Thursday. Guard Ali Saunders has been a consistent force, averaging 19.3 points over her last three games, including a 19-point, six-assist performance in the recent win. Tennessee Tech arrives following a tight 61-58 road win at Morehead State. The Golden Eagles are led by forward Reghan Grimes, who is coming off a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double in that contest.
