CHICAGO (Interstat) — The Saint Joseph’s Hawks look to solidify their position in the conference standings when they visit the Loyola Chicago Ramblers in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup Saturday at Joseph Gentile Center. Saint Joseph’s (16-8) enters on a high note after a 70-63 victory over George Washington on Wednesday. The Hawks’ offense was powered by a trio of double-digit scorers: Rhian Stokes (16 points), Gabby Casey (15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists) and Aleah Snead (15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists). Snead, a key player to watch, has been a consistent contributor, including a 24-point outing in a loss at Rhode Island on Feb. 4. The Hawks have won four of their last six games but have struggled slightly on the road in conference play, with recent away losses to Rhode Island and Dayton. Loyola Chicago (12-12) aims to return to .500 after a 67-55 road loss to Duquesne on Wednesday. Alexa Kinas led the Ramblers in that contest with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Kinas has been a versatile force for Loyola, nearly posting a triple-double with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in a win over VCU on Feb. 7. The Ramblers had won five straight prior to the Duquesne loss, a streak that included notable victories over Fordham and George Washington. Their defense held opponents under 55 points in three of those wins. Saturday’s contest pits Saint Joseph’s more potent offense, which has scored 70 or more points in three of its last seven games, against a Loyola Chicago team that has found success this season through defensive grit. The Hawks won the teams’ first meeting this season, 64-60, in Philadelphia on Jan. 3. Tip-off is set for Feb. 14, 2026, in Chicago.
