Preview: Siena Saints at Merrimack Warriors NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (Interstat) — The Merrimack Warriors, riding a four-game winning streak, will host the Siena Saints in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women’s basketball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Volpe Athletic Center. Merrimack (14-10 overall) enters with momentum following a 77-72 overtime road victory at Marist on Thursday. The Warriors have won six of their last eight games, with their success heavily fueled by standout forward Madison Roman. Over her last five contests, Roman is averaging a dominant 16.2 points and 14.0 rebounds per game, including a 23-point performance at Marist and a 15-rebound, 15-assist triple-double against Rider on Feb. 7. Siena (11-13) looks to rebound from a 62-40 road loss at Quinnipiac on Thursday, where the team managed just 40 points, its lowest output of the season. The Saints had previously won three straight before the defeat. Guard Alden Yergey, a key player for Siena, scored 15 points in a win at Saint Peter’s on Feb. 5 but was held to eight points on 3-of-12 shooting in the loss to Quinnipiac. This game is a rematch of a Jan. 10 meeting in Loudonville, N.Y., which Merrimack won decisively, 82-65. In that game, the Warriors built a 20-point halftime lead and never looked back. The matchup features contrasting recent trajectories. Merrimack’s surge has been keyed by defense and Roman’s all-around play, holding opponents to an average of 52.5 points during its current win streak. Siena, which averages 69.2 points per game, will need to rediscover its offensive rhythm against one of the conference’s hottest teams. For Siena, containing Roman will be a primary focus, while Merrimack aims to extend its home-court advantage and solidify its position in the MAAC standings. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern.
