NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Interstat) — Two ASUN women’s basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Saturday when the Lipscomb Bisons host the Queens (N.C.) Royals at Allen Arena. The matchup features teams with nearly identical records in the conference standings. Lipscomb enters at 9-15 overall, while Queens arrives at 8-16. Both squads are looking to build on their most recent outings, which produced contrasting results. The Bisons are coming off a dominant 74-44 road victory at Bellarmine on Thursday. McKayla Miller led the way with 19 points. The junior guard has been a consistent offensive force, scoring 18 or more points in three of her last five games, including a 20-point performance against Stetson on Jan. 22. Queens, meanwhile, is looking to rebound from a tough 85-47 loss at Austin Peay on Thursday. The Royals have lost seven of their last eight games, with the lone win a 100-48 rout of Bellarmine on Jan. 29. Guard Jermany Mapp has been a bright spot, leading the team in scoring in two of the last three contests. She poured in a team-high 17 points in the loss to Austin Peay. The Royals’ offense has struggled during their recent slide, failing to reach 65 points in any of their seven losses in that span. They will face a Lipscomb defense that has held opponents to 44, 45, and 44 points in three of its nine wins this season. This game is the only scheduled meeting between the programs this regular season. Following this contest, Queens will travel to face Jacksonville on Feb. 19. Lipscomb will remain at home to host West Georgia on Feb. 18. Tip-off is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, in Nashville.
