The Tigers previously defeated Cornell 72-61 on Jan. 31 in New Jersey. A key player for Princeton is Fadima Tall, who scored 16 points in the loss to Columbia. In the first meeting against Cornell, she nearly posted a double-double with 4 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The Tigers have relied on balanced scoring, with Olivia Hutcherson adding 12 points and 4 blocks in the most recent game. Cornell is coming off a heartbreaking 72-66 overtime loss to Penn at home on Friday. The Big Red’s offense runs through guard Rachel Kaus, who poured in a career-high 25 points in 42 minutes in that defeat. Kaus also scored 20 points in the earlier loss at Princeton this season. Despite their record, the Big Red have shown resilience, winning at Penn on Jan. 30.
