OMAHA, Neb. (Interstat) — The Omaha women’s basketball team will look to build on a rare conference victory when it visits Saint Thomas (Minn.) in a Summit League matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. The Mavericks (4-23, 2-12 Summit) snapped a five-game losing streak with a 65-58 road win at Denver on Wednesday. Omaha will now face a Tommies squad (12-12, 6-8) that has won two straight and sits in the middle of the conference standings. Saint Thomas defeated Omaha 81-68 in their first meeting this season on Jan. 15 in Nebraska. The Tommies are 8-4 at home this season, while the Mavericks are 1-12 in true road games. A key player for Omaha is guard Sarai Estupiñan, who is coming off a season-high 24-point performance in the win at Denver. She averaged 10.4 points over her last seven games. Saint Thomas counters with forward Alyssa Sand, who has been a consistent force. She is averaging 12.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists over her last eight contests. In the February win over Oral Roberts, Sand posted 15 points, three assists and two blocks. The Tommies have found momentum with consecutive wins over Denver and Oral Roberts at Schoenecker Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota. Omaha’s win at Denver marked just its second victory since Dec. 21. Following this game, Omaha will travel to face South Dakota on Feb. 19. Saint Thomas begins a two-game road trip at North Dakota State on Feb. 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CST at Schoenecker Arena.
