Preview: La Salle Explorers at George Washington Revolutionaries WASHINGTON (Interstat) — Two Atlantic 10 women’s basketball teams seeking consistency will meet Saturday when the La Salle Explorers visit the George Washington Revolutionaries at the Charles E. Smith Center. La Salle (13-11) enters the matchup coming off a decisive 70-53 victory over Fordham on Feb. 7, while George Washington (13-13) looks to rebound from a 70-63 loss at Saint Joseph’s on Feb. 11. The teams have already met once this season, with the Explorers securing a 66-52 home win over the Revolutionaries on Jan. 3. The Explorers are led by guard Aryss Macktoon, who is averaging 15.6 points over her last seven games. She is coming off an 18-point, 4-rebound, 4-assist performance in the win over Fordham and has scored 20 or more points three times in that stretch. Joan Quinn (13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists vs. Fordham) and Ashleigh Connor (11 points) provide additional scoring support. George Washington will counter with guard Jaeda Wilson, who erupted for 20 points against Saint Joseph’s in her last outing. Her production has been variable, however, scoring 12 points in a win at Dayton on Feb. 1 but being held to just one point at Davidson on Feb. 7. Kamari Sims, who had 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks against the Hawks, offers a versatile presence. La Salle has shown a pattern of alternating wins and losses over its last eight games. George Washington has struggled to find a sustained rhythm in conference play, going 3-4 in its last seven A-10 contests. The game will tip off at 2 p.m. EST on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. Following this contest, La Salle will host Rhode Island on Feb. 18, while George Washington will welcome Richmond on the same date.
