MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (Interstat) — Two teams hovering around .500 will meet Saturday when the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders host the Kennesaw State Owls in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup at Murphy Athletics Center. The Blue Raiders (13-11) enter on a one-game win streak after a 57-48 home victory over Jacksonville State on Thursday. They are led by guard Blair Baugus, who is coming off a 40-minute, 17-point performance in that win. Baugus has been a consistent force, averaging 15.4 points over her last five contests, including a 22-point outing against Liberty and a 15-point, 17-rebound double-double against Western Kentucky. The visiting Owls (11-11) are also fresh off a road win, having defeated Western Kentucky 55-51 on Thursday. Kennesaw State is powered by guard Keyarah Berry, who tallied 17 points and eight rebounds in that victory. Berry has scored 17 points in three of her last five games and is coming off a stretch where she averaged 31 points over a two-game homestand in late January. Middle Tennessee won the previous meeting this season, a 60-47 decision at Kennesaw State on Jan. 2. The Blue Raiders have been strong at home this season, boasting notable blowout wins over New Mexico State, UTEP and Western Kentucky in Murfreesboro. Kennesaw State has shown resilience on the road recently, splitting its last four away games. The Owls will need another strong outing from Berry and supporting players like Latazia Williamson, who scored 16 points against Western Kentucky, to challenge the Blue Raiders on their home floor. The game tips off at 5 p.m. EST on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. Following this contest, Middle Tennessee travels to face Western Kentucky on Feb. 21, while Kennesaw State returns home to host Sam Houston on Feb. 19.
