JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — A surging Jacksonville women’s basketball team looks to continue its push atop the ASUN Conference standings when it visits crosstown rival North Florida on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. The Dolphins (16-7) enter on a three-game winning streak, including a 76-70 victory over Stetson on Thursday. Jacksonville has won seven of its last nine games overall. The Ospreys (8-16), meanwhile, have lost four straight and six of their last seven, most recently falling 55-51 to Florida Gulf Coast. Jacksonville guard Tatum Brown, coming off a 14-point, 4-assist performance in 34 minutes against Stetson, will be a focal point for the Dolphins’ offense. North Florida will counter with guard Dezuray McGill, who has shown scoring bursts this season, including a 27-point outing against Central Arkansas last month. The matchup at UNF Arena is the first of two scheduled meetings between the programs this month; they are set to play again in Jacksonville on Feb. 27. The Dolphins won the only meeting last season, 68-52. Jacksonville’s recent success has been fueled by balanced scoring. In the win over Stetson, Makiya Miller added 16 points and Aniah Smith scored 13. North Florida has struggled to find consistent offense during its skid, failing to reach 70 points in any of its last four games. The Ospreys will aim to leverage their home court in the rivalry game to snap their losing streak and improve their conference positioning. Jacksonville seeks to maintain momentum in a tight ASUN race. Tip-off is set for Saturday afternoon.
