NEWARK, N.J. (Interstat) — The Seton Hall Pirates will look to solidify their standing in the Big East Conference when they host the struggling DePaul Blue Demons in a women’s basketball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Prudential Center. Seton Hall (16-8 overall) enters on a high note after a 70-58 road victory over Marquette on Wednesday. The Pirates have won four of their last six games and boast a balanced attack. Guard Mariana Valenzuela has been a consistent offensive threat, averaging 16.3 points over her last seven contests, including a 19-point performance against Marquette. DePaul (6-20) snapped a six-game losing streak with a 72-68 home win over Saint John’s on Tuesday. The Blue Demons’ season has been defined by narrow defeats, with five of their conference losses coming by 10 points or fewer, including a 73-74 heartbreaker at Marquette on Jan. 28. The Pirates won the first meeting this season, 86-77, in Chicago on Jan. 17. In that game, DePaul’ Kate Novik scored 16 points, while Seton Hall’s Valenzuela contributed 7 points and 5 assists. Novik remains the focal point for DePaul. The guard is coming off a 20-point, 5-assist effort in the win over Saint John’s and has scored in double figures in six of her last seven games. Her ability to facilitate and score will be crucial against Seton Hall’s defense. For Seton Hall, containing Novik while capitalizing on its deeper roster will be the objective. The Pirates have shown resilience, rebounding from a two-game skid in early February with their decisive win at Marquette. The game tips off at Prudential Center, with Seton Hall favored to complete the regular-season sweep. DePaul will aim to build on its recent win and play spoiler on the road.
