Dartmouth Aims for Season Sweep of Struggling Yale in Ivy League Women’s Basketball NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Interstat) — The Dartmouth Big Green will look to complete a regular-season sweep when they visit the Yale Bulldogs in an Ivy League women’s basketball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Payne Whitney Gymnasium. Dartmouth (10-12 overall) enters the contest after a 58-51 road loss to Brown on Friday. The Big Green had previously handled Yale (5-16) with relative ease, securing a 77-59 victory in Hanover on Jan. 31. That result is part of a challenging conference stretch for both programs. A key player for Dartmouth is guard Alexandra Eldredge, who logged 37 minutes and contributed six points and two assists in the first meeting against Yale. Eldredge is coming off a 38-minute performance in a loss to Harvard on Feb. 7, where she scored 10 points. Her season high was a 16-point, six-rebound, four-assist effort in a narrow loss to Penn on Jan. 19. Yale, mired in a five-game losing streak since its last win over Cornell on Jan. 19, will lean on guard Ciniya Moore. Moore was a bright spot in the first matchup with Dartmouth, scoring a team-high 17 points. She remains a consistent offensive threat, averaging 15.4 points over her last five games, including a 15-point, four-rebound, four-assist effort in a loss to Brown on Feb. 7. The Bulldogs’ most recent result was that 66-52 defeat at Brown, where Moore led the team in scoring and Mary Meng grabbed 12 rebounds. While Dartmouth holds the better overall record, both teams have found wins scarce in Ivy League play this season. The Big Green’s conference victories include the earlier win over Yale and a non-conference rout of St. Joseph’s in late December. Yale’s lone league win came against Cornell. The game will be a Valentine’s Day test for two teams seeking momentum before the final stretch of the conference schedule. Following this contest, Dartmouth will host Columbia next Saturday, while Yale travels to face Penn.
