Preview: Wright State Raiders at Detroit Titans DETROIT (Interstat) ā Two Horizon League womenās basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Thursday when the Wright State Raiders visit the Detroit Titans at Calihan Hall. Both teams enter with struggling overall records. Wright State (7-18) sits just above Detroit (5-18) in the conference standings. The Raiders won the seasonās first meeting, 82-71, at home on Jan. 2. The matchup features two of the leagueās top individual performers. Wright State guard Breezie Williams is a dynamic scoring threat, averaging 21 points in her last two games, including a 28-point effort in a win over Fort Wayne on Feb. 5. For the Titans, forward Jasmine Edwards provides a consistent interior presence. She is coming off a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds in Detroitās 72-69 road victory over Oakland on Feb. 7, the teamās most recent win. That win snapped a six-game losing skid for Detroit. Coach Kate Achter will look for Edwards and guards Kailee Davis and Myonna Hooper, who combined for 43 points against Oakland, to carry that confidence forward. Wright State, meanwhile, aims to bounce back from a 73-63 home loss to IU Indy on Saturday. Despite the defeat, Williams scored 21 points. Support from Claire Henson and Maja Dilen will be crucial for the Raiders on the road. With both teams near the bottom of the league and the regular season winding down, securing a conference victory is paramount for building positive momentum before the Horizon League tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
