SAINT CHARLES, Mo. (Interstat) — A critical Ohio Valley Conference rematch awaits Thursday when the Lindenwood Lions host the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks in women’s basketball. The game, scheduled for Feb. 12, 2026, at Robert F. Hyland Performance Arena, features two teams heading in opposite directions. Lindenwood (18-7 overall) enters with the superior record and momentum from a dominant 92-54 road win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Feb. 5. The Lions have won seven of their last nine. Tennessee-Martin (12-10) snapped a two-game skid with a 64-58 home win over Morehead State on Feb. 7 but has struggled for consistency, alternating wins and losses over its past six contests. The matchup is a swift revenge opportunity for the Lions, who fell 73-70 at Tennessee-Martin on Jan. 17. Skyhawks guard Kenley McCarn erupted for 40 points in that victory, a season-high performance that included three assists. McCarn, coming off another 20-point effort in the win over Morehead State, is averaging 17.4 points over her last eight games and will be the focal point of the Skyhawks’ offense. Lindenwood counters with guard Brooke Coffey, who was held to eight points in the first meeting. Coffey has been prolific since, scoring in double figures in six consecutive games. She is averaging 16.5 points and 4.2 assists over that stretch, including a 15-point, six-assist performance in the rout of Little Rock. The Lions boast a potent offense, having scored 82 or more points in three of their last five games. Containing that attack will be a primary challenge for a Tennessee-Martin squad that allows an average of 62.2 points per game. A Lindenwood win would solidify its standing near the top of the OVC, while Tennessee-Martin seeks a season sweep to climb back above .500 in conference play. The Skyhawks have won three straight in the series. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Central.
