LEXINGTON, Ky. (Interstat) — The Kentucky Wildcats will look to rebound from a tough road loss when they host the Texas A&M Aggies in a Southeastern Conference women’s basketball matchup on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at Rupp Arena. Kentucky (18-7) enters the contest after falling 64-53 at Texas on Monday, halting momentum from a dominant 93-73 victory at Arkansas on Feb. 1. The Wildcats have been inconsistent in conference play, but their record reflects a strong overall season. A key to their success has been the play of center Clara Strack, who is coming off a 14-point performance against Texas. Strack has been a force, notably recording a 33-point, 15-rebound game in the win over Arkansas. Texas A&M (9-10) snapped a six-game losing streak with a narrow 72-69 home victory over Alabama on Sunday. The Aggies’ season has been a struggle, particularly during a January stretch where they lost games by margins of 44, 45, and 40 points. Guard Ny’Ceara Pryor has been a bright spot, averaging 14.2 points and 4.7 assists over her last six games. She scored 20 points and dished seven assists in the win over Alabama. The matchup pits Kentucky’s size, anchored by Strack, against an Aggies team reliant on Pryor’s backcourt creation. The Wildcats won the teams’ first meeting this season, 74-52, in College Station on Jan. 29. Kentucky will aim to complete the regular-season sweep and protect its home court, while Texas A&M seeks to build its first winning streak in over a month and secure a pivotal road conference win. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST. Kentucky’s next game is Sunday at home against Mississippi. Texas A&M will host Auburn on Sunday.
