The matchup is the first of a regular-season series that will conclude in Tulsa on Feb. 28. The Golden Eagles are looking to rebound from a 74-69 home loss to South Dakota on Saturday. Oral Roberts has shown offensive firepower, scoring 89 points in a win at North Dakota on Jan. 29, but has struggled defensively in recent road losses at Denver and North Dakota State. A key player for Oral Roberts is guard Kayten Donley, who is coming off a 16-point performance against South Dakota. Over her last six games, Donley has averaged 12.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists, demonstrating all-around production. Saint Thomas arrives with momentum after a 60-56 road victory at Denver on Saturday, a defensive performance it will aim to replicate. The Tommies’ season has been marked by inconsistency, following that win with a 33-point loss to South Dakota State just three days prior. The Tommies will rely on guard Jada Hood, who led the team with 14 points and four assists in the win over Denver. Hood has been a steady contributor, averaging 9.5 points over her last six contests. Historically, Oral Roberts has dominated non-conference play, including an 86-51 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan in December.
