Georgia Southern (16-6) also aims to bounce back after a 78-67 loss at Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, which snapped a three-game winning streak. The game hinges on a showdown of standout guards. Arkansas State is led by Crislyn Rose, who is coming off a triple-double performance with 15 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in the overtime loss. Over her last five games, Rose is averaging 17.6 points and 5.2 assists, including a 28-point, eight-assist effort in a win over James Madison on Jan. 25. Georgia Southern counters with McKenna Eddings, who scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the loss to Miami (Ohio). Eddings has been a consistent scorer, reaching double figures in five of her last six contests, including an 18-point outing at South Alabama on Jan. 24. The Red Wolves’ offense has been potent, averaging 78.2 points during their recent seven-game win streak before the narrow loss. Bella Weary and Zyion Shannon, who combined for 24 points against Eastern Michigan, provide additional scoring depth. The Eagles rely on a balanced attack behind Eddings. Destiny Garrett averages a double-double, posting 12 points and seven rebounds in the last outing, while Kishyah Anderson adds scoring punch from the wing. Arkansas State won the first meeting this season, 81-71, at home on Jan. 17. Rose had six points and five assists in that victory, while Eddings led Georgia Southern with 14 points.
