KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Tennessee Lady Volunteers, riding a five-game winning streak, will host the struggling Arkansas Razorbacks in a Southeastern Conference women’s basketball matchup Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tennessee (11-3, 3-0 SEC) enters with momentum after a 90-80 road victory at Mississippi State on Thursday. The Lady Volunteers’ offense has been powered by guard Mia Pauldo, who scored a career-high 26 points in that win. Over her last three games, Pauldo is averaging 14.7 points and 3.0 assists. Arkansas (11-7, 0-3) seeks its first conference win amid a four-game skid, most recently a 93-58 home loss to South Carolina. The Razorbacks have struggled offensively in SEC play, failing to reach 60 points in their last two contests. Guard Jada Bates, who led the team with 16 points against the Gamecocks, will be a key factor if Arkansas is to challenge the Lady Volunteers. The Razorbacks face a daunting task against a Tennessee defense that has held its first three SEC opponents to an average of 63.7 points. Arkansas must improve its ball security after committing 18 turnovers in the loss to South Carolina. Historically, Tennessee has dominated the series, winning 20 of the last 21 meetings. The Lady Volunteers will look to protect their home court and maintain a share of the early SEC lead, while the Razorbacks aim to salvage their conference start before a road trip to Missouri next Thursday. Tipoff is set for Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026. Tennessee’s next game is at Alabama on Jan. 18, while Arkansas travels to Missouri on Jan. 15.
