The Bobcats (8-4) have won three straight, most recently a 73-56 home victory over Akron on Jan. 3. Ohio’s offense has averaged 84.7 points during the streak, fueled by strong guard play. Eastern Michigan (7-5) enters with momentum after an 86-76 home win over Bowling Green on Dec. 30, snapping a two-game skid. The Eagles have shown resilience in close games, with three of their five losses coming by single digits, including a narrow 74-78 defeat at Ball State. A key matchup will feature two of the MAC’s top scorers. Eastern Michigan’s Fernanda Ovalle is averaging 19.5 points over her last four games, including a 26-point performance against Bowling Green. The guard is coming off a 16-point, 4-rebound effort against Akron and scored 20 points in a critical overtime road win at Central Michigan on Dec. 31.
