OMAHA, Neb. (Interstat) — A pair of Big East women’s basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Monday when the Seton Hall Pirates visit the Creighton Bluejays at CenturyLink Center. The matchup features two squads hovering near .500, with Seton Hall at 7-4 and Creighton at 6-5. Both are coming off decisive performances in opposite directions. The Pirates look to rebound from a 72-55 road loss to Villanova on Friday. The Bluejays, meanwhile, enter on a high note after a 70-50 home victory over DePaul on Saturday. Seton Hall will rely on guard Jada Eads, who has been a consistent offensive catalyst. She leads the team in scoring in four of its last seven games, including a 12-point effort in the loss to Villanova. Over her last five contests, Eads is averaging 13.2 points and 3.4 assists per game. Creighton counters with forward Grace Boffeli, who is coming off a dominant 17-point performance against DePaul. Her recent play has been efficient; in the Bluejays’ last three wins, Boffeli averaged 11.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in just 21.3 minutes per game. Her presence inside will be a key factor against the Pirates. The game marks the beginning of the conference schedule for both teams. Seton Hall has shown resilience at times this season, winning tight games against Auburn and Washington State, but has struggled offensively in its losses, failing to reach 55 points in three of its four defeats. Creighton has found its stride defensively of late, holding its last two opponents to 50 and 48 points. Monday’s contest is the first of two regular-season meetings between the programs this season. They are scheduled to play again at Seton Hall on Feb. 1, 2026. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CST.
