(Interstat) — The Wisconsin women’s basketball team looks to continue its strong non-conference play when it hosts the IU Indy Jaguars at Kohl Center on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025. The Badgers (8-3) enter with a winning record built on a stout home-court advantage, where they are 5-1 this season. Their most recent outing was a dominant 74-46 victory over San Diego on Dec. 10. Wisconsin’s defense has been a key factor, holding opponents to an average of 60.5 points per game. A player to watch for Wisconsin is guard Destiny Howell, who is coming off a 14-point, 5-rebound performance against San Diego. Howell has scored in double figures in four of her last five games, providing consistent offensive production. The visiting IU Indy Jaguars (4-7) seek momentum before Horizon League play begins next month. They snapped a three-game skid with a 79-40 rout of IU Columbus on Dec. 17. The Jaguars have struggled offensively at times, averaging 68.5 points per game. IU Indy will rely on guard Nevaeh Foster, its most dynamic scorer. Foster erupted for 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in a win over Anderson on Nov. 26 and posted 19 points at Marshall on Nov. 23. Her ability to create offense will be critical against Wisconsin’s defense. This matchup marks the final non-conference tune-up for both squads. Wisconsin will open a tough Big Ten schedule on the road at Maryland on Dec. 29. IU Indy begins Horizon League play at Northern Kentucky on Jan. 2, 2026.
