DAVIS, Calif. (Interstat) — The UC Davis women’s basketball team, riding a four-game winning streak, will look to continue its strong start when it hosts the struggling Nevada Wolf Pack at The Pavilion at ARC on Sunday. The Aggies (7-2) have found momentum since a tough road loss at then-Stanford, winning their last four contests. They are coming off a 68-63 home victory over Hawaii on Thursday, powered by a career-high 26 points from center Megan Norris. The junior has been dominant, averaging 16.8 points over her last five games and recording a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds at Jacksonville State on Nov. 28. Nevada (4-6) arrives in Davis mired in a four-game skid, including a 63-42 road loss at McNeese State on Saturday. The Wolf Pack have struggled offensively during the losing streak, failing to score more than 57 points in any of the defeats. Guard Chloe Williams has been a bright spot, averaging 10.3 points over her last six games. She scored 15 in a narrow one-point loss to Eastern Washington on Nov. 28. The matchup pits one of the Big West’s top teams against a Mountain West squad seeking a turnaround. UC Davis has excelled at home, boasting a 4-0 record at The Pavilion this season, while Nevada is 1-4 in true road games. Norris’s interior presence will be a key focus for a Nevada defense that has allowed an average of 63 points per game. The Aggies’ balanced attack also features guards Ryann Bennett and Nya Epps, who combined for 28 points against Hawaii. For Nevada, finding consistent scoring beyond Williams will be critical to snapping its losing streak and challenging the Aggies on their home floor. Tipoff is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025.
