Both teams enter coming off narrow road defeats this past Thursday. Florida (8-2) fell 68-64 at Virginia Tech, snapping a six-game winning streak. South Alabama (6-2) dropped an 82-80 heartbreaker at Louisiana Tech, ending its own five-game win streak. The game features a compelling backcourt duel between two of the nation’s top scorers. Florida is powered by junior guard Liv McGill, who is averaging 26.3 points over her last four games. She poured in a season-high 30 points in the loss to the Hokies.
