VINEYARD, Utah (Interstat) — The Utah Valley Wolverines look to rebound from a lopsided loss when they host the Air Force Falcons in a nonconference women’s basketball game Saturday. The matchup at the UCCU Center pits teams with identical 4-4 records. Utah Valley has played two fewer games, last taking the court on Nov. 24 in a 71-42 road loss to Nevada. Tessa Chaney led the Wolverines with 13 points in that contest. Air Force enters with momentum from a 59-49 road victory at Wright State on Nov. 29. Jayda McNabb posted a double-double in the win with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Milahnie Perry added a team-high 19 points. The Falcons have split their last four games. Utah Valley’s season includes an 85-56 home win over Pepperdine and a 66-42 road victory at Cal State Bakersfield. Air Force’s schedule has featured a largely road-heavy slate, with its wins coming against Denver, Manhattan, Portland State and Wright State. Following this game, Utah Valley travels to Missouri-Kansas City on Dec. 13. Air Force returns home to face N.M. Highlands on the same date. Tipoff is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at the UCCU Center.
