NACOGDOCHES, Texas (Interstat) — The Texas State Bobcats will look to build on their best offensive performance of the season when they visit the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks in a nonconference women’s basketball game Saturday. The game is scheduled for Dec. 6, 2025, at William R. Johnson Coliseum. Texas State (2-5) is coming off a dominant 93-52 home victory over Prairie View A&M on Nov. 30. Saniya Burks led the way with 28 points, while Kyra Anderson added 17 points. The 93-point outburst followed a stretch where the Bobcats averaged just 52.8 points over their previous five games. Stephen F. Austin (5-2) aims to rebound after a 60-68 road loss to Longwood on Nov. 29. Harmanie Dominguez scored 20 points in the defeat, and Makana Gardner recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Ladyjacks’ resume includes an 82-78 home win over Houston on Nov. 17. The matchup pits a surging Texas State offense against a Stephen F. Austin team that has been more consistent overall this season. The Bobcats’ win over Prairie View marked their first victory since Nov. 20. The Ladyjacks have not played at home since Nov. 17. Following this game, Texas State will host UNT Dallas on Dec. 10. Stephen F. Austin’s next contest is at home against Texas-Rio Grande Valley on Dec. 15.
