TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — The Idaho State Bengals will look to continue their strong start to the season when they visit the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in a nonconference women’s basketball game Saturday at the Mabee Center. Idaho State (5-2) enters with momentum following a 74-43 rout of Omaha on Wednesday. Piper Carlson led the Bengals with 19 points in that win, supported by Tasia Jordan’s 14 points. The Bengals have won four of their last five, with the only loss in that stretch coming on the road at Loyola Marymount. Oral Roberts (4-5) is coming off a high-scoring 92-89 road victory at Idaho on Wednesday. Anna Trusty scored a team-high 24 points in the win, while Kayten Donley added 19 points and Jalei Oglesby had 20 points and five assists. The Golden Eagles have shown offensive firepower but also defensive lapses, including a 103-58 loss at Nebraska last month. The matchup pits Idaho State’s steady performance against an Oral Roberts team seeking consistency. The Bengals will continue a road swing at BYU on Dec. 11, while Oral Roberts travels to Wichita State on Dec. 16.
