NORFOLK, Va. (Interstat) — The Norfolk State Spartans will host the North Carolina A&T Aggies in a nonconference women’s basketball game on Saturday at Echols Hall. Both teams enter with 3-win records, seeking consistency. The Aggies (3-4) are coming off a 73-67 road victory over North Carolina Central on Tuesday. Chaniya Clark led the way with 20 points, while D’Mya Tucker and Elliott Jessup each added 14 points. The Spartans (3-6) are returning home after an 86-48 win over Shaw on Monday. Da’Brya Clark scored a game-high 25 points in that victory, with Cire Worley adding 12 and Jasha Clinton contributing 11 points and five assists. North Carolina A&T has shown a stark home-road split, with all three wins coming at home and all four losses occurring on the road. Norfolk State is 3-1 at home this season, with the lone loss a two-point defeat to Hampton. Following this matchup, Norfolk State travels to face Georgia Tech on Monday. North Carolina A&T’s next game is at Georgia on Dec. 15.
