STEWART MANOR, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Fordham Rams will visit the Hofstra Pride in a non-conference women’s basketball matchup on Saturday at Mack Sports Complex. Fordham (6-4) enters looking to rebound from a 73-55 road loss to George Mason on Wednesday. In that game, guard Alexis Black scored a team-high 21 points. The Rams had won three straight prior to that defeat, including a 72-51 victory over Long Island on Nov. 30. Hofstra (1-5) seeks to end a five-game skid. The Pride fell 72-53 at East Carolina on Nov. 28. Forward Ayen Angoi posted 8 points and 8 rebounds in the loss, while Micaela Carter added 9 points and 5 rebounds. Hofstra’s lone win this season was a 73-66 victory at Yale on Nov. 11. The Rams have balanced scoring, with three players averaging between 9 and 12 points per game. The Pride have struggled offensively, failing to reach 60 points in four of their five losses. This is the first meeting between the programs since 2017. The game tips off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
