ITHACA, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Quinnipiac women’s basketball team, riding the momentum of a decisive road win, visits Cornell on Saturday looking to move above .500. The Bobcats (4-3) dominated Boston College 76-49 on Wednesday. Anna Foley posted 10 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in that victory, while Sydney Ryan scored a team-high 18 points. Quinnipiac has won two straight, including a 77-50 win over Colgate on Nov. 23. The Big Red (4-5) seeks to halt a two-game skid after falling 66-52 at Lehigh. Emily Pape led Cornell with 18 points in the loss. The team’s last win was a 49-47 home victory against Siena on Nov. 26. Saturday’s contest at Newman Arena concludes a three-game road stretch for Quinnipiac. Cornell will look to leverage its home court, where it is 1-1 this season. Following this game, Cornell hosts Army on Tuesday. Quinnipiac’s next game is at home against Maine on Dec. 14.
