LEE, N.H. (Interstat) — The Merrimack Warriors, riding momentum from a last-second victory, visit the struggling New Hampshire Wildcats in a nonconference women’s basketball game Friday at Lundholm Gym. Merrimack (3-4) arrives following a 59-57 road win at Dartmouth on Tuesday, secured by a basket in the final seconds. Mia Fiore led the Warriors with 16 points, supported by Molly Manion’s 13 and Oralye Kiefer’s 11. New Hampshire (2-6) seeks to end a four-game skid after a 64-45 loss at Holy Cross on Nov. 30. Eva DeChent scored a game-high 18 points for the Wildcats, with Maggie Cavanaugh adding 10 points and six rebounds. The Warriors have shown offensive volatility, averaging 97 points in a season-opening win but scoring 46 or fewer in two losses. The Wildcats have struggled to find consistency, with their only wins coming against Division III Worcester State and New England College. This is the final tune-up for both teams before challenging road games. Merrimack hosts Brown on Dec. 9, while New Hampshire travels to face No. 8 Louisville on Dec. 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
