HANOVER, N.H. (Interstat) — The Dartmouth women’s basketball team looks to rebound from a narrow loss when it hosts struggling Central Connecticut on Friday night at Leede Arena. The Big Green (3-2) fell 59-57 to Merrimack on Tuesday despite 13 points from Nina Minicozzi and 12 from Olivia Austin. Dartmouth has won two of its three home games this season. Central Connecticut (0-6) remains in search of its first win after a 68-43 road loss at Pittsburgh on Monday. Christa Ramos led the Blue Devils with seven points in that contest. Central Connecticut has lost each of its games by at least 14 points, averaging just 49.3 points per game. Dartmouth’s defense, allowing an average of 57.6 points, will face a Blue Devils team that has yet to score more than 64 points in a game this season. The Big Green’s wins have come against Siena, Colby-Sawyer and Boston University. This is the first meeting between the programs since 2017. Dartmouth will host Bucknell on Sunday. Central Connecticut travels to face Vermont on Sunday.
