TEMPE, Ariz. (Interstat) — The Nevada women’s basketball team looks to rebound from a weekend loss when it faces San Francisco on Thursday at Mullett Arena. The Wolf Pack (4-4) enters following a 65-52 defeat at Portland on Saturday. Skylar Durley led Nevada with 20 points in the loss. The Dons (5-2) are riding high after a 92-52 rout of Cal St. Monterey Bay on Sunday, led by Meghan McIntyre’s 16 points and seven assists. Nevada has alternated wins and losses over its past six games. San Francisco has won four of its last five, with the lone setback in that stretch an 80-66 loss to Seton Hall. The neutral-site contest in Tempe is a departure for both programs. Nevada’s upcoming schedule includes a game at McNeese State on Saturday, also at Mullett Arena. San Francisco remains in Arizona to face Arizona State on Saturday. Thursday’s matchup will feature Nevada’s defense, which has held three opponents under 55 points this season, against a San Francisco offense averaging over 74 points per game.
