HACKENSACK, N.J. (Interstat) — The Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, riding a three-game winning streak, will host the Lafayette Leopards in a nonconference women’s basketball game on Thursday at Rothman Center. The Knights (5-3) have found momentum, most recently defeating Monmouth 63-50 on Saturday. Ava Renninger led the way with 18 points, six assists and four rebounds. The Leopards (4-4) look to rebound from a 71-60 road loss at NJIT on Sunday. Teresa Kiewiet scored 23 points and Talia Zurinskas added 18 in the defeat. Lafayette has shown resilience on the road this season, with wins at Pittsburgh, Wagner and Saint Francis (PA). Fairleigh Dickinson’s current streak includes decisive victories over NJIT and Delaware State. According to National Statistical’s ELO system, Fairleigh Dickinson is projected with a 93.9% probability to win Thursday’s contest. The game is the final nonconference tune-up for the Knights before they visit Saint Peter’s on Dec. 10. The Leopards return home to host Marist on Sunday.
