The Golden Eagles (4-3) fell 65-61 at Gonzaga on Sunday despite 24 points from Skylar Forbes. Halle Vice added 12 points and eight rebounds in the loss. Marquette has alternated wins and losses over its past five games. DePaul (2-6) enters on a four-game losing streak, most recently a 71-41 loss at Princeton. Michelle Ojo led the Blue Demons with 10 points in that contest. Defense has been a consistent issue, as DePaul has allowed an average of 73.6 points during its skid. The game at Allstate Arena marks the conference opener for both teams. Marquette holds a road victory this season, while DePaul is 1-2 at home. Following this game, Marquette hosts Butler on Sunday. DePaul faces a quick turnaround, traveling to play Connecticut on Sunday.
