(Interstat) — Two teams riding the momentum of recent wins will meet Wednesday when the UNC Wilmington Seahawks visit the West Georgia Wolves in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup. The Seahawks (3-3) evened their record with a 69-59 home victory over Queens (N.C.) on Sunday. Rori Cox led the way with 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Kylah Silver added a game-high 22 points. UNC Wilmington has shown a stark home-road split, winning all three games at home but losing all three away contests this season. West Georgia (3-2) last played on Nov. 25, defeating Western Carolina 69-60. Grace O’Gara paced the Wolves with 19 points. The Wolves’ two losses came against power-conference opponents Georgia Tech and Oregon. The game at The Coliseum marks the first meeting between the programs. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
