SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels visit the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup on Wednesday night. UNLV (4-3) arrives after a 62-56 home victory over Northern Iowa last Friday. Meadow Roland led the way with 17 points, while Aaliyah Alexander added 11 points and six assists. The Runnin’ Rebels have alternated wins and losses over their past five games. Texas-San Antonio (3-3) is coming off a narrow 65-64 road win at Grand Canyon on Nov. 26. Cheyenne Rowe scored 20 points in that victory, with Damara Allen and Jayda Holiman each adding 12. The Roadrunners are 2-0 at home this season. The game will tip off at the Convocation Center (UTSA). It marks the final nonconference tune-up for UTSA before a visit to Baylor on Sunday. UNLV continues a road swing at Rice on Saturday.
