DENTON, Texas (Interstat) — A surging Oklahoma State women’s basketball team visits North Texas on Wednesday night in a nonconference matchup at the North Texas Coliseum. The Cowgirls (8-1) enter on a three-game win streak, most recently edging Miami (Fla.) 87-84 on Saturday. Amari Whiting (23 points, 8 assists) and Jadyn Wooten (26 points, 6 rebounds) led a potent offensive effort. Oklahoma State’s lone loss came at Saint John’s on Nov. 19. North Texas (5-2), known as the Mean Green, looks to rebound after a 67-47 road loss to Texas Tech last Thursday. Megan Nestor scored 14 points in that defeat. The Mean Green previously won close games at SMU and in double-overtime at Saint Mary’s. Oklahoma State has dominated its schedule, averaging 86.2 points per game and winning by an average margin of 33.4 points in its eight victories. North Texas has relied more on its defense, holding opponents to 56.1 points per game in its five wins. Tipoff is set for Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.
