FARGO, N.D. (Interstat) — Two teams riding winning streaks will meet Wednesday when the Montana State Bobcats visit the North Dakota State Bison in a nonconference women’s basketball game at Scheels Arena. Montana State (5-1) arrives with momentum from a 71-70 road victory over Colorado on Sunday. Taylee Chirrick led the way with 21 points and six rebounds, while Addison Harris added 17 points and six boards. The Bobcats’ only loss came at Troy on Nov. 24. North Dakota State (5-2) is coming off a dominant 85-36 win at Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. Avery Koenen posted a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in that contest. The Bison have won three straight since a loss to Nebraska on Nov. 16. The matchup features two efficient offenses. Montana State has scored 86 or more points in three of its wins, while North Dakota State has surpassed 80 points in three of its victories this season. Both teams will have a quick turnaround following this contest. Montana State hosts North Dakota on Saturday, while North Dakota State travels to Weber State the same day.
