INDIANAPOLIS (Interstat) — In-state Horizon League rivals meet Wednesday when the Fort Wayne Mastodons visit the IU Indy Jaguars in women’s basketball. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST at Fairgrounds Coliseum. Fort Wayne (4-4) looks to rebound from a narrow 56-53 road loss at Bowling Green on Sunday. Lili Krasovec led the Mastodons with 13 points in that defeat. Jordan Reid added 9 points and 11 rebounds. IU Indy (3-4) enters on a high note after a 94-58 rout of Anderson on Nov. 26. Guard Nevaeh Foster scored 22 points in that win, while Kamara Mills added 19. The Mastodons have shown resilience, including an early-season 68-67 upset of Purdue. The Jaguars seek consistency after alternating wins and losses over their past five games. This is the first of two regular-season meetings. The Jaguars visit Fort Wayne on Jan. 5. Fort Wayne’s next game is Sunday at home against Wright State. IU Indy travels to Detroit on Sunday.
