TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Indiana State Sycamores look to build on a dominant win when they host the struggling Northern Illinois Huskies in a nonconference women’s basketball game Wednesday at Hulman Center. Indiana State (3-3) is coming off a 102-50 rout of St. Mary-Woods on Nov. 24. Clemisha Prackett posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds in that win, while Jayci Allen scored 17 points and Da’Naria Washington dished six assists. Northern Illinois (2-5) seeks to end a two-game skid after falling 65-52 at Evansville on Sunday. Nevaeh Wingate and Julia Sollberger each scored 12 points in the loss. The Huskies’ wins this season came against Chicago State and SIU Edwardsville. The Sycamores have won two of their last three, including a road victory at Western Kentucky. Northern Illinois has lost four of its five games by double digits. This is the final tune-up for Indiana State before a road test at Butler on Dec. 11. Northern Illinois visits Iowa State on Dec. 7.
