MOSCOW, Idaho (Interstat) — The surging Idaho Vandals host the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in a nonconference women’s basketball game Wednesday at Idaho Central Credit Union Arena. Idaho (7-1) enters on a six-game winning streak, most recently an 83-61 victory over Wichita State on Nov. 29. Guard Kyra Gardner led the Vandals with 21 points in that win. Oral Roberts (3-5) snapped a four-game skid with an 89-74 home win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Nov. 26. Gentry Baldwin scored 17 points in the victory. The Vandals’ strong start includes a notable road win at Washington State. Their lone loss came at UC Davis on Nov. 7. The Golden Eagles have faced a challenging schedule, with road losses to power-conference opponents Nebraska and Oklahoma State. They average 75.6 points per game but allow 86.1. Idaho has dominated at home, winning by an average of 33.3 points in four games in Caldwell this season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time.
