CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Interstat) — The Holy Cross Crusaders visit the Harvard Crimson in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup Wednesday night at Lavietes Pavilion. Holy Cross (3-4) enters on a high note after a 64-45 home win over New Hampshire on Sunday. Meg Cahalan led the way with 20 points and six rebounds, while Janie Bachmann added 13 points and eight boards. The Crusaders have split their last four games. Harvard (4-5) is also coming off a victory, a 69-51 road win at Arkansas on Sunday. Katie Krupa paced the Crimson with 15 points and six assists. The win snapped a two-game skid for Harvard, which has played a challenging early schedule. Both teams seek momentum before entering their respective conference slates. Holy Cross begins Patriot League play next week, while Harvard starts Ivy League competition in January. The game tips off at 7 p.m. EST.
