DAVIDSON, N.C. (Interstat) — The Duquesne Dukes, riding momentum from an overtime road win, visit the Davidson Wildcats in an Atlantic 10 women’s basketball matchup on Wednesday. Duquesne (6-2) edged Navy 69-67 in overtime on Sunday behind strong performances from Gabby Grantham-Medley (16 points, 8 rebounds) and Alexis Bordas (18 points). Harriet Ford added a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. The Dukes have won four of their last five. Davidson (4-3) is coming off a 64-59 home victory over Ohio on Sunday. Charlise Dunn led the Wildcats with 17 points and four blocks, while Katie Donovan added 16 points. The game at Belk Arena features contrasting early-season trajectories. Duquesne’s two losses came by a combined nine points. Davidson has faced a tough schedule, with its three defeats coming against Power Five opponents Baylor and Miami (Fla.), along with Mississippi State. Following this contest, Duquesne visits Eastern Michigan on Dec. 9. Davidson hosts Ball State on Dec. 7.
