LILLINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — The Mercer Bears and Campbell Fightin’ Camels meet Wednesday in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup at the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center. Mercer (5-3) enters on a two-game win streak, most recently routing Charleston Southern 71-45 on Nov. 28. Ariana Bennett led the Bears with 24 points in that victory. The Bears have won four of their last five. Campbell (4-5) looks to snap a two-game skid after a narrow 56-53 loss at North Florida on Saturday. Jasmine Felton scored 18 points and blocked four shots in the defeat. The Fightin’ Camels are 3-1 at home this season. The Bears have relied on balanced scoring, with Bennett, Talia Kemp and Nahawa Diarra all averaging double figures. Campbell counters with Felton, who averages a team-high 14.6 points and 2.4 blocks per game. This is the final scheduled nonconference home game for Campbell before it begins Coastal Athletic Association play in January. Mercer continues its road swing at Jacksonville State on Saturday. Tipoff is set for Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.
