SOUTH DAKOTA COYOTES (14-13) AT ORAL ROBERTS GOLDEN EAGLES (6-22) Preview TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — The South Dakota Coyotes look to solidify their position in the Summit League standings when they visit the struggling Oral Roberts Golden Eagles on Saturday at Mabee Center. South Dakota (14-13) enters the contest looking to rebound from a narrow 72-71 home loss to North Dakota on Feb. 11. The Coyotes had won two straight prior to that defeat, including a dramatic 68-67 victory at rival South Dakota State. Oral Roberts (6-22) seeks to end a three-game skid, most recently an 80-71 loss at Omaha on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles’ last win was a 69-60 home victory over Missouri-Kansas City on Feb. 12. The matchup features two of the conference’s top scorers. South Dakota is led by guard Cameron Fens, who is averaging 18.4 points per game over his last seven contests. Fens torched Oral Roberts for 25 points in the teams’ first meeting, a 77-69 Coyotes win in Vermillion on Jan. 29. Oral Roberts counters with guard Ty Harper, who has scored 20 or more points in four of his last six games. Harper had 23 points in the loss at South Dakota last month. South Dakota has won four of its last six games overall. Oral Roberts has lost 10 of its last 12. The Coyotes will aim to sweep the season series and improve their conference tournament seeding. The Golden Eagles, mired at the bottom of the league, will look to play spoiler on their home floor. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. CST tipoff at the 10,575-seat Mabee Center. It will be broadcast on ESPN+.
