Preview: Dartmouth Big Green at Columbia Lions NEW YORK (Interstat) — The Columbia Lions, riding high after a key road victory, will look to solidify their Ivy League standing when they host the struggling Dartmouth Big Green on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Levien Gymnasium. Columbia (15-9) enters the matchup with momentum, coming off a 75-65 win at Princeton last Saturday. The Lions have won three of their last five, showcasing a balanced attack. In the win over Princeton, guards Connor Igoe (9 points, 7 assists) and Blair Thompson (14 points) led the way, while Miles Franklin added 12 points. Dartmouth (10-13) seeks to end a three-game skid, most recently falling 79-76 to Brown at home on Feb. 14. The Big Green have lost five of their last six contests. Their fortunes often hinge on the scoring of guard Jayden Williams, who poured in 24 points in the loss to Brown and is averaging 17.2 points over his last five games. This is the second meeting between the teams this season. Columbia won the first matchup 79-69 in Hanover on Jan. 24. In that game, the Lions limited Williams to just 2 points, while Columbia’s bench provided a significant lift. A key matchup will be in the backcourt between Dartmouth’s Williams and Columbia’s Igoe. While Williams is the primary scoring threat, Igoe serves as a facilitator for the Lions, dishing 15 assists over his last two games. Columbia, with the superior record and home-court advantage, will be favored. The Lions are 9-2 at Levien Gym this season. Dartmouth, however, has shown the ability to compete on the road, with an overtime win at Brown last month. Containing Williams and capitalizing on their deeper rotation will be the focus for Columbia as they aim for a season sweep. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. EST tip-off.
