CHARLESTON, S.C. (Interstat) — The Citadel Bulldogs will host the Chattanooga Mocs in a Southern Conference rematch on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at McAlister Field House, just two weeks after securing a road victory in the first meeting. Both teams enter with struggling overall records — Chattanooga at 11-17 and The Citadel at 9-19 — but the Bulldogs’ 78-71 win in Chattanooga on Feb. 7 provides a recent blueprint for success. The Mocs, however, are coming off a high-scoring 94-90 road win at Mercer on Thursday, while The Citadel fell 78-75 at home to Samford that same night. The spotlight will be on the backcourt, featuring two of the league’s top performers. Chattanooga’s Jordan Frison is averaging 21.4 points over his last five games, including a 25-point, five-assist effort in the win over Mercer. He scored 24 points in the loss to The Citadel earlier this month. The Citadel will counter with guard Sola Adebisi, who was instrumental in the first matchup with 18 points and five rebounds. Adebisi is coming off a 13-point, three-assist performance against Samford. Chattanooga’s offense, which erupted for 94 points last outing, will test a Bulldogs defense that has allowed an average of 75.3 points per game in conference play. The Mocs’ supporting cast, including Brennan Watkins (19 points vs. Mercer) and Billy Smith (12 points), will need to contribute to ease the burden on Frison. For The Citadel, maintaining the defensive pressure that forced Chattanooga into a subpar shooting afternoon on Feb. 7 will be critical. Braxton Williams, who scored 22 points against Samford, provides a secondary scoring option alongside Adebisi. With both teams near the bottom of the conference standings, the game represents a crucial opportunity to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. EST.
