(Interstat) — Two teams tangled in the middle of the Southeastern Conference standings and desperate to halt recent slides will meet Tuesday night when the Georgia Bulldogs visit the Kentucky Wildcats at Rupp Arena. Both teams carry identical 17-8 overall records into the matchup and are looking to rebound from double-digit road losses this past Saturday. Georgia fell 94-78 at Oklahoma, while Kentucky dropped a 92-83 decision at Florida. The result extended both teams’ recent struggles; the Bulldogs have lost five of their last seven, and the Wildcats have split their last six contests. The game features a compelling backcourt duel between two of the league’s top scorers. Georgia will lean on guard Blue Cain, who is averaging 18.3 points over his last three games, including a 20-point effort at Oklahoma.
