Guard Justin Allen erupted for a career-high 34 points in that win, highlighting a recent stretch of dominant play. Over his last eight games, Allen is averaging 15.6 points, including two performances of 30 or more points. The Panthers (10-17, 6-9), meanwhile, are looking to build momentum after snapping a four-game skid with a 92-88 road win at IU Indy on Tuesday. Chandler Jackson led the way with 25 points in that victory. The junior forward has been a consistent contributor, averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this season. This intrastate matchup is the second of the regular season. Green Bay edged Milwaukee 79-76 in Green Bay on Jan. 5. The Phoenix have won four of their last five games overall, while the Panthers have struggled at home recently, losing four of their last five at Panther Arena. Green Bay’s recent success has been fueled by efficient offense, scoring 76 points or more in four of its last five outings. Alongside Allen, Marcus Hall (15 points) and CJ O’Hara (14 points) provided key support in the latest win. Milwaukee will need a strong defensive effort to slow the Phoenix and improve its postseason positioning. The Panthers have allowed 76 points or more in seven of their last nine contests. Following this game, Green Bay begins a two-game road trip at Oakland and Detroit. Milwaukee also hits the road, facing Detroit and Oakland next weekend. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CST Sunday.
