Preview: Stanford Cardinal at Wake Forest Demon Deacons WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Interstat) ā The Stanford Cardinal, riding a two-game winning streak, visit the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in an Atlantic Coast Conference menās basketball matchup Saturday at Joel Memorial Coliseum. Stanford (16-9) arrives after a 70-64 road win at Boston College on Wednesday. The Cardinal have found momentum following a five-game skid in January, averaging 82.5 points in their last two victories. The Cardinal are powered by guard Ebuka Okorie, who enters in stellar form. He scored 40 points in a win over Georgia Tech on Feb. 7 and followed with 22 points and five assists against Boston College. Over his last seven games, Okorie is averaging 21.1 points. Wake Forest (12-12) evened its record with an 83-67 victory at Georgia Tech on Wednesday. The Demon Deaconsā performance was fueled by guard Mekhi Masonās season-high 17 points and four assists, alongside 23 points from Juke Harris. Masonās role has fluctuated; his 26 minutes against Georgia Tech marked a season high after playing 20 or fewer in five of the previous six contests. Consistency from the backcourt will be key for a Wake Forest team seeking its first consecutive wins since late December. Stanfordās recent success has featured balanced support for Okorie. Guard Benny Gealer added 21 points against Boston College. The Cardinal will test a Wake Forest defense that allows 78.5 points per game in ACC play. The Demon Deacons hold a 7-5 record at home this season. Forward TreāVon Spillers, who had 13 points and two blocks last game, provides an interior presence. This game is the only scheduled meeting between the programs this season. Stanford continues a three-game road swing, while Wake Forest looks to build momentum before hosting Clemson on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.
